Newmariners.com is created by Capt.Lau to assist the alumni and students of all maritime universities in China.
Capt.Lau graduated from Jimei Navigation Institute in 1950 and spent the past 54 years in the maritime field. His experience encompasses a wide range of areas such as Sea services, Marine Superintendent and Operation manager of a shipping company, as well as Classification Society Surveyor, Principal Surveyor of ICGB, NCB Surveyor and that of Maritime Consultant.
Capt. Lau retired from the National Cargo Bureau of New York in 1996 after 20 years of service. Currently he is Maritime Consultant and Marine Surveyor based in Seattle, USA.
