BHP Billiton has voyage chartered a vessel at USD 7.85 per tonne effective from July 4 to 8, to load 170,000 tonnes of iron ore at Port Hedland, Western Australia for Qingdao, China. There are provisions for daily stevedorings to meet the loading on a specified scale and the unloading of 30,000 tonnes.
Sierra Leone – China;
Sinochart has voyage chartered the Leopold LD (built in 2014) at USD 22.00 per tonne effective from July 6 to 12, to load 160,000 tonnes of iron ore at Pepel, Sierra Leone for Qingdao, China. US east coast – South Africa;
ArcelorMittal has voyage-chartered a vessel at USD 15.25 per tonne effective from June 29 to July 8, to load 65,000 tonnes of coal at Mobile on the USA’s east coast for Richards Bay, South Africa. There are provisions for daily stevedorings to meet the loading of 25,000 tonnes and the unloading of 20,000 tonnes.
